ARMOURY PARK
Armoury Park was developed from a derelict railway yard and took six years to come to fruition. It was opened in 2002 by John Swinney MSP. The park sits on one of the main walking routes into Pitlochry between the west end carpark and the dam and salmon ladder.
WILDLIFE GARDEN
The wildlife garden was developed in partnership with the Scottish Wildlife Trust and officially opened on 21 June 1999 by Walter Gilmour of BBC television’s “The Beechgrove Garden”. It features a pond, bird feeders, a small meadow area, a raised border and a bug hotel.
Over the years, the garden has undergone much development and the garden provides a tranquil space to rest, as well as to watch and listen to all the birds and wildlife.
