11:45am: Anna Pavord – The Curious Gardener

The Curious Gardener is a stunning book written by one of Britain's most authoritative voices in the UK, the gardening correspondent for the Independent newspaper and author of eight previous books, including the bestselling The Tulip.

From what to do in each month and how to get the best from flowers, plants, herbs, fruit and vegetables, through reflections on the weather, soil, the landscape and favourite old gardening clothes to office greenery, spring in New York, waterfalls, Derek Jarman and garden design, Anna Pavourd always has something interesting to say it with great style and candour.
