Welcome to the Pitlochry in Bloom Website. Our organisation is a very pro-active group of Friends of Pitlochry in Bloom and a management committee of 12, we are assisted by helpers and community groups. Our aim is to encourage everyone living and working in the local community to take responsibility for improving and caring for their local environment. We all hope that we can put just a little bit back into the place we enjoy living and working in and where so many of us have raised our families.
Council cutbacks a number of years ago meant we have had to work hard over the last 15 years to maintain all the floral features in town and introduce new sustainable ones. We continue to work to improve our environmental quality for locals and visitors.
The "Friends" can be seen out most Tuesdays in town looking after their allocated patch. We welcome anyone who would like to get involved in helping us with weeding, planting, pruning and painting, please ring the Secretary on 470051.
